Global Sustainable Development Foundation (GSDF) cordially
invites
formal launch dinner for New York Global Leaders Dialogue
at the Harvard Club of New York City.
On March 12, New York Academy of Sciences, one of the GSDF
founding members,
will invite you to visit the Academy, and attend the
luncheon hosted by the Academy,
to discuss with world renowned scientists in education and
other fields on topics
including global Scientific and technology Innovation and
the sustainable
development in China.
The Global Sustainable Development Foundation (GSDF) is an
NGO, initiated by the
current President of 68th United Nation General Assembly,
and jointly founded by the
ACCM group, the New York Global Leadership Dialogue, the tIN
Foundation Global
Young Entrepreneurs Council and the New York Academy of
Sciences. The founding
members of the GSDF are from China, the United States,
Australia, the United Arab
Emirates, Russia, Denmark and many other key countries.
Among them are political
leaders, successful business people, and members of the
world's
most well-known families.
The GSDF intends to obtain United Nation Observers' Status.
Its mission is in line
with the UN's post-2015 goal; it will work with LIN
organizations and involve in all
key aspects of [IN's sustainable development goal by
focusing on life science,
resources, energy, environment, education and finance
sectors. Currently GSDF is
structured in such way that it will have several different
committees in different
sectors, currently four committees are under construction,
they are Global Elderly
Care Committee, Global Resources/Energy Committee, Global
Renewable Resources
Committee and Global Science and Technology for Gifted Youth
Committee.
The New York Academy of Sciences is a leading non-profit
organization, dedicated to
advancing science, addressing global challenges that are
amenable to scientific &
technological solutions, and increasing public science
literacy. It is uniquely a global
Academy with well over 20,000 members in well over 100
countries, there are over
27 living Nobel laureate as its members. It leads
public-private partnerships to
improve education, encourage competitiveness and innovation,
and address the
world's health, environment and urbanization challenges.
The New York Global Leaders Dialogue (NYGLD)
is a platform to
promote
worldwide understanding, collaboration, harmony,
intergenerational connectivity,
cultural enrichment and prosperity. The organizational
principle of the 21st century is
horizontal, in contrast to the vertical preoccupations of
the 20th century. Leadership is
focused on creating new space - eg cultural, economic,
innovative, creative,
intellectual, policy, scientific, educational -- in the
service of others. The New York
Global Leaders Dialogue brings together leaders from around
the world to: meet as
equals; exchange ideas in an environment ( of mutual respect
and personal courtesy;
pursue agendas geared to resolving planetary challenges
foster intergenerational
dialogue and nurture cohorts of younger leaders.
NYGLD's Global Advisory Board
