The Junior Committee of the Alzheimer’s Association, New
York City Chapter – young
professionals
in their 20s & 30s – hosted a special gala, Masked ‘Til
Midnight, on Friday,
October 25, 2013 to help fight Alzheimer’s disease. Proceeds
will support programs, services and research to
benefit the New York City Alzheimer’s community.
This unforgettable evening at the Harold Pratt
House (58 East 68th Street in Manhattan offered cocktails,
hors d'oeuvres, dancing, and a silent auction. Guests
wore cocktail attire and masks.
In attendance was
Dascha Polanco,
Vicky Jeudy and Selenis Leyva, recurring cast members on the
Netflix series “Orange Is The New Black”
and actress Julianne Michelle
(Awakened, Apartment 1303, Amazing Racer).
DJ Miles Guthrie Robbins provided music for the
evening. Auction items included a two- night stay at the
Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, a one year membership to
Reebok Sports Club, a Gc Men’s timepiece, a meet & greet and
set visit with Lou Dobbs, among other items.
Rémy Martin was the event sponsor providing
beverages for the evening. There was beer compliments of
Bronx Brewery, vodka from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, tequila
from Don Julios Tequila, cannolis from Pasticceria Rocco,
assorted desserts
from
Payard, and cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery.
