KATE SPADE AND ANDY SPADE
HOST THE 19TH
ANNIVERSARY
OF THE NEW YORK CENTER FOR
CHILDREN
On the
evening of Tuesday, October 1, Kate Spade and
her husband Andy Spade hosted the 19th
Anniversary of New York Center for Children (NYCC),
assembling more than one hundred donors,
volunteers and friends at their New York
residence. Kate Spade has served as the
Co-Chair of the NYCC since 2006, and has hosted
the Anniversary event for the past eight years.
Her
dedication to the Center goes beyond the annual
anniversary celebration. Kate Spade provides
leadership and support to NYCC throughout the
year, directly impacting children who have faced
abuse or neglect in New York City. “NYCC’s
dedication to the care and comfort of so many
children and families inspires us.” states Kate
Spade. “The team’s level of expertise is beyond
compare. The children are supported in their
healing. There is no place quite like it.”
NYCC provides a safe, welcoming place for
children who have experienced abuse or neglect .
All programs and services, including medical
examination, evaluation and ongoing individual
therapy are tailored to meet the individual
needs of the each child and are completely free
of charge.

in 1995, NYCC is a child-friendly Center
providing free, comprehensive evaluation and
therapy services to victims of child abuse and
their families. NYCC also offers professional
training programs on the diagnosis, treatment
and prevention of child abuse.
