Thank you for Honor of conferring me
 with the KAILASA Om Award^SM

I would like to thank the

The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH)

Nithyananda Paramashivam,

 the Head of State of  SHRIKAILASA,

.I would like to briefly share with everyone my own PERSONAL experience of the power of people to change the World

 and indeed it’s  one of the Events which led me to  co-found

 Black Tie International Magazine with my partner
Joyce Brooks over 20 years ago.

I grew up in Dublin in the times we called the Troubles
 a thirty year period of  near daily bombing and killing in Ireland.

Nobody, though that the Troubles would ever end.

BUT

One day the Mothers marched,  to Stop the Violence,

The Peace People, were  ordinary working class people.

Over time  a consensus grew that Enough is Enough.

The Belfast Agreement, more commonly known as The Good Friday Agreement, was signed in Northern Ireland on 10 April 1998,

 and was  approved by a massive majority in  public votes in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. 

 The Good Friday Agreement , effectively brought an end
to The Troubles,
and established a cross-community consensus for peace
 and established a roadmap the future direction of Northern Ireland.

The Peace has held for over 20 years,
 and  Ireland today is a beautiful and peaceful country..

People can make a difference.
