May
our paths cross soon...
Daniela Zahradnikova is
the founder of Yoydally NGO. Born and raised in former
Czechoslovakia under the communist regime, Daniela
experienced the harsh treatment of Romani children in
schools, in particular her own childhood friend Svetka, who
was taunted so often by her non-Romani peers that eventually
she did not return to school. Daniela attended Carles
University to major in child psychology, yet moved to
Germany before graduation. Eventually she moved to New York
and signed with Elite modeling agency, working as a runway
model until 2001. She continued to work in the fashion
industry/ high end luxury/ retail until present day. Daniela
travels and works between New York City, Palm Beach and
Southampton, and she spends most of her free time
volunteering for a few NGO's, primarily focused on helping
underprivileged children. Daniela's memories of her
childhood friend Svetka encouraged her to found the
Yoydally organization. www.yoydally.org
