The JEAN BAR is a denim specialty store developed by jean lover, Lady Reiss. Lady was born and raised in New Orleans, armed with an MBA, fashion connections, and a unique sense of style, Lady grew tired of shopping all over the nation for that perfect pair of denim. 

In addition, Lady found it hard to get good customer service at any stores, especially at blues jean stores,
where she seemed to need it the most. 

Lady's obsession and quest morphed into a store that epitomized the idea of a laid back, "blues bar" atmosphere that offered the best selection of desirable jeans for both men and women. In September 2004, Lady's vision became a reality when she opened the first blues JEAN BAR location in San Francisco. Since 2004, the stores have spread, outfitting denim lovers all over the nation. 

Who we are

Our mission is to provide quality customer service to those in search for the perfect pair of jeans. With 14 store locations through out the United States and over 20 different brands for both men and women, our goal is to go beyond just being a boutique. We want to become a safe haven for our customers by providing a unique shopping experience. Each store, like your local watering hole, is nested perfectly in the heart of hand picked neighborhoods. The stores' central feature is a large wooden bar made from old growth wood with the tag line, Denim on Tap. These one-of-a kind jean bars allow shoppers to "order up" from the Denim on Tap menu of jeans, wash, size, style and brand. The whole process is served by jean-tenders whose mission is to provide the perfect fit of jeans to
each customer. 

How we give back

Auction donations - we donate a private after hours event to the Blues Jean Bar ( usually sells around $200)

Auction events in store - We give anywhere from 10% - 20% to the charity... sometimes we do 10% off merchandise
 and 10% back to the charity of choice

Jean Drives - we do lots of jean drives where we donate jeans that customers bring in to a homeless shelter
 and then we give them 15% off!
