JUPITER, Fla. – Jupiter Country Club in northern Palm Beach County will be the starting point for the
Exotic Car Run for “Fun”ding
Histiocytosis on July 26, 2008. Drivers
of impressive automobiles such as
Lamborghini, Ferrari, Viper, Porsche,
Bugati, Maserati, Rolls Royce, BMW,
Bentley, Alfa Romeo, Corvette, Fort GT
and others will gather at Jupiter
Country Club for refreshments from 9
a.m. until noon, then depart together
with police escorts at noon en route to
the new Maserati of Palm Beach
dealership in West Palm Beach. The
anticipated arrival time is 1 p.m. and,
upon reaching this destination,
participants will enjoy a live band,
food, raffles and a children’s karate
performance. In addition, participants
will see a two-time championship
dragster on-site as well as the most
extreme 4x4 by Extreme Performance.
“This will be a great way to see the
most exciting cars in the world and
speak to their proud owners, while
raising funds for the Histiocytosis
Association of America (HAA),” said Toll
Brothers Senior Project Manager Lawrence
Buck.
HAA is the only non-profit organization
providing support and education to
patients and families dealing with
histiocytic disorders. The organization
also provides funding for research
grants in hopes of finding better
treatment options and a cure for this
rare blood disease. The vast majority of
people diagnosed with Histiocytosis are
children under the age of 10 who have
too many histiocytes, a form of white
blood cells growing in their bodies.
Patients are sometimes treated with
chemotherapy and/or radiation.
“Toll Brothers, the nation’s leading
builder of luxury homes and the
developer of Jupiter Country Club, is
very enthusiastic about supporting this
worthwhile cause,” Buck said. “Best of
all, 100% of all proceeds from the event
will be given to HAA.”
Jupiter Country Club, a new community of
single-family estate homes and luxury
townhomes set amid a Greg Norman
Signature Golf Course, is located across
from the Jupiter Turnpike exit on
West Indiantown Road
in Jupiter.
The new Maserati of Palm Beach
dealership is located at
4000 Okeechobee Boulevard.
The public is invited to enter the
charity run for a $25 donation per car.

or older. All vehicles must be
pre-approved. A registration form must
