About This Facility:
The Northwest Community
Center’s purpose is to
serve the residents of
West Palm Beach by
offering recreational,
educational, social, and
community development
activities for the
uplifting and
improvement of the
overall quality of life.
Since its opening in
April 2000 the center
has served over 330,000
children and adults.
The facility is a joint
project with the city of
West Palm Beach and
provides programs to
give underprivileged
children opportunities
through mentoring,
character-building,
tutoring, recreational,
and college tours. In
addition the location of
the community center
provides a safe haven
for area children and
adults to gather and
socialize.
