Donna Karan,

Cancer Research Fund’s (OCRF) 11th
annual Super Saturday on
Saturday, July 26th
at Nova’s Ark Project in Water
Mill, NY from 12:00PM - 6:00PM.
Super Saturday 11
is a fun-filled,
family-oriented, daylong
fundraiser to benefit OCRF,
complete with a one-of-a-kind
designer garage sale, kids’
carnival and activities, raffle
and gourmet treats. Once dubbed
“the Rolls Royce of garage
sales,” the most anticipated
element of Super Saturday is the
fashion garage sale, which
includes merchandise from over
200 of the most prominent
designers including Donna Karan,
Theory, Carolina Herrera, Calvin
Klein, Judith Leiber, Michael
Kors, Catherine Malandrino,
Diane von Furstenberg, Polo
Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and
Salvatore Ferragamo. The special
Super Saturday Accessories Salon
will showcase luxury accessories
from numerous designers such as
Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton,
Emilio Pucci, Hogan, Tory Burch,
Thomas Pink and Zac Posen.
Retailers participating include
Scoop NYC, Saks Fifth Avenue,
Henri Bendel, Intermix and FAO
Schwarz.
Once again OCRF
has joined forces with leading
multimedia retailer QVC®
to provide nationwide access to
this incredible event. On July
26th, QVC will
broadcast live from Super
Saturday, 2:00PM – 4:00PM (ET).
During the broadcast, QVC
Presents Super Saturday Live,
viewers will get a taste of
the event and a chance to
purchase a variety of products
including apparel, accessories,
jewelry and beauty
at
HALF the suggested
retail price with all net
proceeds benefiting OCRF.
In addition to
the incredible shopping, Super
Saturday 11 will offer attendees
an action packed afternoon
filled with indulgences. Guests
can buzz over to the Burt’s
Bees booth for hand massages
and fun activities. Shoppers
can stop by the Nintendo DS™
Lounge where they can get out of
the sun and have some fun to
revive their shopping spirits.
Ladies will be able to pamper
themselves with pedicures, mini
facials and make-up touch ups
courtesy of the CVS/pharmacy
Reinventing Beauty Retreat Tent
and polish changes by Essie
Cosmetics.
Grown-ups aren’t
the only ones who have fun at
the event. Super Saturday’s
“Day at the Farm and Kids
Carnival” will feature pony
rides, games, arts and crafts
and more. Kids can visit
Camp Divalyssicious where
they will enjoy face painting,
tarot card readings and a
performance by Broadway Babies.
Spirituality for Kids
will offer interactive lessons
and activities that will inspire
and empower children to learn
important life tools. Aspiring
artists can customize t-shirts
at the Ralph Lauren
Childrenswear booth and
decorate cupcakes at the
Crumbs Bakeshop. After
hours of action, the little ones
will be able to recuperate at
the DwellStudio and FatBoy
kids lounge.

About the Ovarian
Cancer Research Fund
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
was founded in 1994. Its
mission is to fund research into
early detection and ultimately a
cure for ovarian cancer. In
support of its mission, OCRF
assists patients and their loved
ones to understand the disease
and its treatment, and provides
outreach programs to raise
public awareness of ovarian
cancer.
Funding for research is directed
through the OCRF Scientific
Advisory Committee, a group of
11 of the leading gynecologic
oncologists and researchers in
the United States. They review
and make recommendations for
funding four high-impact grant
programs. Since 1998, OCRF has
awarded over $28 million in
grants to 128 of the brightest
women and men working in the
field of cancer research at over
40 of the leading medical
centers in the United States.
