“TUTTO
PUCCINI”
An original idea of tenor Eduardo
Aladren
The idea of the show is to celebrate
the 150th Birth
Anniversary of Italian composer
Giacomo Puccini (December 22,
1858 – November 29, 1924) presenting
an interactive show that includes
not only live singing of several
pieces of Puccini’s most famous
operas but also a presentation of
the most interesting aspects of his
life by means of interactive
projections and voices in off
through the show.
The purpose of the show is not only
to entertain the audience but to
educate them about one of the most
important and a famous composer of
all times as Giacomo Puccini was.
Performance Date and Venue
The show will take place on Friday
evening , November 21st,
2008 in The Hibel Museum of Art
sited in 5353 Park side Drive FAU
John D MacArthur Campus, Jupiter,
Florida 33458. For more information
visit
www.hibelmuseum.org.
The length of the show is estimated
around 2 hours and 30 minutes
including an intermission of 20
minutes.
Based in last produced shows in the
area we consider that day as a
convenient one due to there aren’t
any conflicts with other major shows
in the area and it is not a national
festivity.
The Hibel Museum has a capacity of
100 chairs owned by the museum but
it also can increase the capacity to
a maximum of 200 seats through
renting 100 chairs.
The Hibel Museum will be responsible
for all the legal requirements about
insurances for this kind of shows.
General
Description of the Show
The show starts once the audience is
completely seated and in slight
darkness.
A prerecorded voice in off playing
the role of Giacomo Puccini will
welcome the audience to the show and
will be taking the reins of the
show.
By means of a “flash back” effect,
he will go describing the most
relevant facts of his life in
chronological order at the same time
that a projection show synchronized
with the sound projects images
according to the facts described.
In the meantime, with the
introduction of some of his operas
as for example La Boheme, Madame
Butterfly, Tosca, etc…four lyric
singers will perform some of the
most characteristic numbers of these
operas through individual arias,
duets, trios and quartets. It is
also to be considered to project the
translation to English of all music
performed.
The lyric team will be composed by
one light-lyric soprano, a
lyric-spinto soprano, a baritone and
a tenor in order to perform
appropriately some of the greatest
Puccini’s soloist ensembles and
arias.
Musical accompaniment will be
provided by a pianist playing the 7’
Steinway piano owned by the Hibel
Museum. It is been also considered
to add a string quartet (2 violins,
viola and cello) to play along with
the piano giving the show a major
musical dimension. Nevertheless,
this last consideration is subjected
to the obtaining of enough financial
support from our sponsors.
There will be an intermission of
around 20 minutes where
complimentary drinks and light
snacks will be served.
Also a service of complimentary
Valet Parking will be available at
the museum.

Information
Even if the show sells out, box
office revenues can cover only a
fraction of the production cost, so
it will be only through the
generosity of opera-lovers that we
would be able to present this homage
to the great genius Giacomo Puccini.
Your support is vitally important
and makes a meaningful difference in
fulfilling our mission.
