(PALM BEACH, FL) On
the coldest night of the year, a deejay kept guests dancing
and warm as the crowd spilled out of the Tory Burch store
and into the courtyard at 150 Worth last Tuesday for the
Caron Renaissance Gala’s kick-off party.
Honoring the
chairmen and committee members for the Caron Renaissance
Gala on February 27 in Palm Beach, the reception at Tory
Burch offered guests an opportunity to shop for a cause.
Proceeds from purchases and drawing ticket sales from the
evening will benefit Caron’s Lifesaver Scholarship fund,
providing critical scholarship dollars for patients
requiring substance abuse treatment at Caron’s Boca Raton
facility.
Event hostesses, Annie
Falk, Nicole Munder and Tracy Smith were joined by gala
committee junior chairman, Brandie Herbst and gala chairman,
Petra Levin, as they welcomed guests to the fashionable
reception. Tory Burch is serving as the Gala’s fashion
title sponsor.
“This gala and the
events associated with it help raise awareness about Caron’s
mission to help those affected by addiction,” said Levin.
“I want to emphasize how important it is to get people
talking about the disease of addiction, for only then can
the healing process begin. There should be no stigma
associated with addiction. Rather, like other diseases,
treatment is the only answer. So I am especially grateful
to all of the guests who joined us at Tory Burch for this
fun pre-event, and I look forward to a great success at the
Gala next month.”
Headquartered in
Pennsylvania, Caron is one of the top nationally recognized
non-profit drug and alcohol residential treatment centers in
the country offering residential treatment and outpatient
programs for adults and adolescents, as well as families
affected by the disease of addiction. The Caron Renaissance
facility recently opened new state-of-the-art treatment
offices in Boca Raton and launched groundbreaking on-site
family restructuring programming, pioneering new advances in
the field of addiction.
