Beyond Fashion, Caryna Nina Creates Art

Designer Caryna Nina is the embodiment ofher creations. Her line reflects her personality as well as her background. Raised in both
Paris and Greenwich, CT, Caryna returns frequently to Europe. She finds inspiration for her designs in the beauty and history of
Italy, Croatia, Morocco, Spain and France.

While traveling, the designer searches for special fabrics which come to life in the form of a blouse, dress, skirt or perhaps a kimono.A woman with an eye for detail, Caryna designs with the goal of making every woman feel beautiful, confident and sexy. The handpicked piping or ribbon on a skirt, the silk charmeuse lining of her skirts and dresses, and the bias cut of her designs all combine to reveal Caryna’s regard for the particular.

A true Leo, Caryna Nina’s love of, and appreciation for art, color, travel and history is illustrated in her designs.

Invariably conscious of the women wearing her clothing, the designer strives to make every women feel unique. “I LOVE what
I do because it IS more than fashion, it IS about making women feel GREAT  about themselves!”

Caryna Nina studied Renaissance art history in Heidelberg, Germany and Florence, Italy and her appreciation for line and form is expressed in her designs. She also holds a degree in Fashion Design from Parson’s School of Design, and worked as an Assistant Designer for Catherine Puget, an Haute Couture Bridal Atelier in Paris before returning to Greenwich to launch her own line and open her showroom. She began eight years ago, in 2000, with personal clients and by appointment only, creating one-of-a-kind dresses, gowns, suits and shawls for special occasions
to everyday wear. According to Caryna, “each piece of clothing should be a work of art,not just fashion.” She is known for creating unique pieces in silk chiffon, as she believes,
There is something very angelic about chiffon,
especially when you see it move.”

Today, Caryna’s signature style, is bought by clients all over the world, from Greenwich to St. Barth’s, Milan, St. Tropez, Greece, Palm Beach, Chicago, San Francisco, to New York City. She loves that her creations can reach women all across the world and still make them ALL feel the same, beautiful, confident
and feminine!
