Beverlee said “The proceeds of this event
are designated for the Seniors in Transition
and Retirement Services (STARS) program.
STARS provides older adults with
disabilities the opportunity to retire with
dignity and derive joy from the same types
of activities as their non-disabled peers.
STARS is the only day program in the
community which was specifically designed
for and serves older adults with
developmental, physical and/or emotional
disabilities. I invite you to attend this
inaugural event and have a great time while
supporting a very worthy cause!”
