New York, NY –
Pop artist and
designer, Noah G POP has named Russell
Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation as
the beneficiary of his 2nd Annual Artexpo NY
Opening Night Party. The Red Carpet event “At
Home with Noah G POP” will take place in NYC
on February 26, 2009. 100% of the evening’s
proceeds will benefit Rush Philanthropic Arts
Foundation to help provide disadvantaged urban
youth with significant exposure and access to
the arts. Rush Philanthropic strongly believes
that if you give young people the opportunity to
practice and appreciate art -- whether poetry,
music, dance, or the visual arts -- then you
will see lives transformed. “Now more than ever
our foundation needs the support of friends like
Noah who truly understands the importance of the
arts, and the value of our programs,” says
Tangie Murray, Executive Director of Rush
Philanthropic. “We are happy to be the
beneficiary of his
Artexpo event.”
Noah always welcomes opportunities to help
inspire young artists and collectors. “It is an
honor for me to be associated with Rush
Philanthropic and their most important mission
of bringing the arts to underprivileged youth,”
says Noah G POP.
At the event, Noah will premiere his latest art
and fashion designs including his new custom
t-shirt collaboration with Pakare INC. Also
exhibited will be the “Art-Noir” creations of
painter, Michael D’Antuono. Sponsors include
