NFL Legend and Hall of Famer Cris Carter to Headline
Federation Men’s Division Sports Night
“C’mon men!” as legendary NFL receiver Cris
Carter says. Yes, it’s time for men of all ages who care
about great sports, the best companions – as well as the
community, to come together for the Jewish Federation of
South Palm Beach County Men’s Division Sports Night and hear
Carter for themselves. (see
below for Carter’s bio)
Now a popular television and radio sports
analyst, Carter will join the men on Wednesday evening,
November 19, at St. Andrews Country Club, 17557 W. Claridge
Oval in Boca Raton. The $90 couvert includes dinner and
drinks (dietary laws observed), starting at 6:30 pm. A
minimum Men’s gift of $180 to the 2015 UJA/Jewish Federation
of South Palm Beach County Annual Campaign is required to
attend. Men whose Men’s campaign contribution is at least
$1,800 are also invited to a VIP reception with Carter.
Stu Ganslaw, who
co-chairs Federation’s Men's Division Committee with Gary
Rubin and Peter Wohlgemuth, is
thrilled to have Carter as the guest for the event. “This
evening of entertainment will be a terrific chance to get
together with men from throughout our local Jewish community
and hear from a great sports legend,” he said.
Goal oriented, community driven and inspired to take action,
Federation’s Men’s Division is creating a wide variety of
exciting opportunities for men to build a community of
giving together. From sports, music, gourmet food and wine
appreciation to community-minded travel like the January
Men’s Mission to Cuba, the goal of this inclusive group is
in creating a fellowship of strong, connected men who are
building a legacy through Federation.
Ganslaw added, “Being a member of the Men’s Division
committee gives me a real opportunity to help select
interesting events and stimulating speakers that will appeal
to all men in our area.”
