(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) – Friends
and supporters of the Center for Creative
Education (CCE) gathered recently at Saks Fifth
Avenue Palm Beach Gardens to toast Over the Big
Top Goes Carnivále
chairmen, Diana and Michael Perry and Tricia
Quick.
Guests
were treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at
the store. The evening also featured a book
signing of More is More: Tony Duquette by
Hutton Wilkinson, creative director and designer
of Tony Duquette fine jewelry. A percentage of
the evening’s sales benefited the Center for
Creative Education.
“We thank Saks for graciously
hosting us to celebrate the success of Over the
Big Top Goes Carnivále,”
said Tom Pilecki, Executive Director for CCE.
“We are grateful for everyone who supports CCE
through our fundraisers that benefit local
children
through in- and after-school programming with
our artists.”
CCE is
a not-for-profit educational organization that
supports partnerships among schools, arts and
cultural organizations, artists, community-based
organizations, and human service providers. CCE
artists integrate the arts into academic
curriculum and after school activities in Palm
Beach County to help students learn in fun,
creative ways.
CCE’s upcoming annual Spring
Luncheon will be March 24 at a private residence
in Palm Beach. The
interactive benefit event is guaranteed to bring
out the artist in each guest with its "Drawn to
Learn" theme.
