In October 2020, SDSN will take the
Global Solutions Forum (GSF)
to the next level to showcase the eight best solutions coming from SDSNs
National and Regional Networks in a one-of-a-kind
Brilliant people the world over are implementing
local initiatives designed to help achieve the SDGs.
These Initiatives are practical projects that can
accelerate progress towards sustainable development.
But solving the world’s biggest problems isn’t easy
and progress is often slow and incremental - to this
effect, the GSF aims to bring together sustainable
development experts from around the world in an
inclusive space to share progress, highlight
important takeaways and inspire one another to keep
The GSF 2020
will be a state-of-the-art virtual 2 day event that
will stand out in inclusivity of global audiences,
connectedness of different stakeholders, and
innovativeness of the presented solutions.
The event will feature creative ways of active
engagement for all participants, ensuring a truly
interconnected atmosphere that spans the globe in
real time. With digital breakout rooms, exhibit
halls, and 1:1 networking spaces, there will be
ample occasions for valuable networking and the
exchange of opportunities for scale-up. Technology
will allow for participants to connect across
boundaries and barriers thus making the Global
Solutions Forum an event true to its name.
For the 2020 edition of the Global Solutions Forum,
eight networks have been carefully selected to form
a regionally and thematically diverse set of
