On July 11, 2015 Ruth Katz hosted a private party to
celebrate her birthday with 75 of her closest friends. The
event held at her home in Bridgehampton served to benefit
and promote Last Chance Animal Rescue
(LCAR) which is
a volunteer based nonprofit whose mission is to rescue
animals located in "KILL" facilities. Ruth serves as
an honorary member on their board. She is an avid
animal lover and long-time supporter of rescue, having
rescued her beloved Chihuahua Liugi years ago from a
terrible hoarding situation.
