It is a convoluted story. The band appears on stage. All the cast is fine,
but the story is absurd. If one is a fan of Morisette's music and lyrics,
this might be the show to see. I had never heard of Morisette before I saw
the show, so I left the theater unimpressed.
I went to Columbus Library to see Funny Girl, by William Wyler.
1968. Barbra Streisand won an Oscar for her debut performance in
film. In 1964 she won a Tony for her debut performance on Broadway in the
same role as Fanny Brice. Her co-star in the film as Omar Sharif as
her gambler husband. It is a wonderful film and every cast member is
marvelous. Streisand is magnificent and memorable, Unfortunately, they do
not make films like this today.
I went to10 Corso Como at 200 Front St to attend a Save Venice event,
but there was another event happening at the same time, and by accident, I
found myself at one of the best holiday parties I have ever attended. Most
of the guests were Asian, from China and Korea,. It was a real estate
company, and the President of the company was of Polish descent. Every
person was lovely and charming, Well, I could not save Venice, but I had a
marvelous time.
