The entertaining musical with memorable songs by Cole Porter is a delight.
The plot like many musicals is silly, but everyone in the cast were a joy to
watch. We congratulated them at the opening night party in the Music Room,
with guests like Lucy
Arnaz and Marilyn
Maye .
The Drama League's Annual Benefit Gala honored Sutton
Foster (photo

Osnes, Joel Grey, Kathleen Marshall, Bonnie Comley and Stewart
F. Lane.
After a cocktail reception, a dinner followed with a musical tribute to the
adorable Sutton Foster.

I attended Paganini Honors
Paganini at Weill Recital Hall
at Carnegie Hall. The tribute to Niccolo
Paganini was presented by Maria
Elena Paganini as the Host for
the occasion and Consuelo
Vanderbilt Costin introduced
many of the performers. Five
violinists, Kevin Zhu, Elly Suh,
Edmond Fokker Van Crayestein,
Sabrina Vivian Hopcker and Stefan
Milenkovich performed solos,
accompanied in some pieces by
pianist Jochem Greene. All
five soloists joined together for
the final selection. It was a
wonderful concert, and the musicians
gave outstanding performances. It
was a memorable concert.
