(PALM BEACH) – With toasts to their health, friends and supporters of FoundCare Health Center gathered at Fiandaca’s new Worth Avenue boutique recently to kick off FoundCare’s major benefit event, “Ŕ Votre Santé,” to be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Eau Spa, at the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach.
Chaired by Creative Directors, Cheryl Gowdy and Alfred Fiandaca, along with Honorary Chairs, Hermé deWyman Miro and Lyn and Daniel Lerner, “Ŕ Votre Santé” (To Your Health in French) will be an evening of magical surprises that will nourish the mind, body and soul. At the event, guests are invited to enjoy Eau Spa’s amenities, including the steam rooms, Jacuzzis and spa services.
“We have an extraordinary evening planned and are excited to be raising critical dollars for FoundCare Health Center,” said Gowdy. “FoundCare currently has 3,000 patients but has the capacity to see more than 10,000 uninsured or underinsured people each year. Many of our patients are children and families who have lost their jobs, their homes and have no healthcare coverage. With the support from events like ‘Ŕ Votre Santé,’ our community can raise awareness and funding that can maximize the use of this state-of-the-art medical home.”
Sponsors to date are Palm Beach Society Magazine, TD Bank and Weekes and Callaway Insurance.
Among those attending the kick-off party for “A Votre Sante” were: Laurel Baker, Peter Barrett, Carl Bartels, James Bartle, Richard Bernstein, Yolette Bonnet, Jim Brennan, Tim Casey, Beth and Dan Clark, Abigail and Steven Cohen, Andrea Cohen, Hermé deWyman Miro, Dr. David Dodson, Barnett and Ken Druskin, William Eubanks, Alfred Fiandaca, Patrick and Florence Flynn, Delayne Gold, Cheryl Gowdy, Robert Guterma, Vicki Halmos, Dallas Hessler and Robert Busby, Inga Hiilivirta, Chris and Vicki Kellogg, Laura Legra, Cheryl Marshman, Pam Murray, Daniella Ortiz, Anka Palitz, Jude Plum, Sonja Reese, Pamela Saba, Fred Scheiman, Ed Sheahan, Grady Smith, Cherie and Dr. Ahmad Toufanian and Hilarie Viener.

FoundCare Health Center provides medical care for Palm Beach County residents with limited or no health insurance, regardless of their ability to pay.
