HANLEY GATHERING AT THE PLAYERS CLUB FOR
THE
17TH ANNUAL FAMILY LUNCHEON PRE-EVENT
Event also honors winners of the Great
Charity Challenge Awards
(WELLINGTON, Fla.) –Hanley Center
Foundation and Mr. Neil Hirsch hosted
guests at The Players Club in Wellington
on January 26th for a pre-event
reception. The event set the stage for
the upcoming 17th
Annual Hanley Center Foundation Family
Luncheon on February 12, 2012 at the
Palm Beach International Equestrian
Center in Wellington, marking the start
of National Children of Alcoholics
Awareness Week.
It also honored Hanley Center’s fellow
Great Charity Challenge Award winners.
“The Players Club was a beautiful venue
to kick off our forthcoming Family
Luncheon which is guaranteed to be a fun
family event,” said Dr. Rachel Docekal,
who leads Hanley Center Foundation.
“Thanks to Mr. Neil Hirsch’s generosity,
the evening also offered us a wonderful
opportunity to meet our nonprofit
colleagues participating in the
Great
Charity Challenge.”
Nonprofit participants who attended the
event on behalf of the Great Charity
Challenge Award winning organizations
included Child and Family Connections,
Inc.; Greyhound Pets of America; Hospice
of Palm Beach County; JAFCO (Jewish
Adoption and Foster Care Options);
Center for Family Services and Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society.
“The disease of addiction affects the
entire family and our Family Luncheon
celebrates hope through recovery while
honoring National Children of Alcoholics
Awareness
Week. All proceed s from the luncheon
will support Hanley Center’s Education
and Prevention Programs , which offer
training to professional worldwide on
how to identify and treat the chronic,
yet treatable disease of addiction.”

The program for the 17th Annual Family
Luncheon will feature guest speaker,
Tara Conner, former Miss USA 2006 and
ambassador for Substance Abuse
Prevention and Education. Children and
families will get an up-close look at a
world-class horse jumping competition,
Artisan Farm Grand Prix, during the
luncheon. The afternoon will also
include animal encounters, a magic show
and a silent auction, featuring the ever
popular children’s silent auction.

Tickets to the 17th Annual Family
Luncheon are $195 for adults, $50 per
child (7-17 years of age), and children
6 and under are free. Family tables are
$500 per table (includes 2 adults and 4
children under 18).
