Benefit event raises funds and awareness for
Center for Creative Education
(WEST PALM BEACH) – Nearly 200 little black dresses sashayed
into the Gardens Mall last Wednesday for the “ultimate girls’
night out” as Center for Creative Education (CCE) celebrated its
second annual Little Black Dress event. The annual fundraiser
benefits programming for the local nonprofit which infuses
creative approaches into classrooms and after-school settings to
enhance the teaching of traditional subjects.
The party began at the Gardens Mall Saks Fifth Avenue where were
greeted with a cocktail reception and fabulous silent auction.
Girls then strutted down to the Mall’s Grand Court for
supper-by-the-bite tapas and a Saks fashion show of the season’s
hottest trends.
Little Black Dress co-chairwomen were Kim Havlishek, Michele
Jacobs and Rena Toppe Ueltshi. Susie Dwinell was honorary
chairwoman. Event sponsors included AutoCricket.com &

CCE provided programming to more than 11,500 underprivileged
youth in a record number of 118 schools and after-school sites
