A Sandcastle Fantasy for
Opportunity
(Palm Beach) The Opportunity, Inc. Dinner Dance & Auction
was held recently at The Beach Club, Palm Beach. This event
has become a Palm Beach tradition in support of the town’s
oldest charity, currently celebrating 74 years of service.
Guests were greeted by live mermaids and led into a
Sandcastle Fantasy complete with exciting silent auction
items and the dancing to the rhythmic waves of the Doug
Verga Band. Chairwoman of the event was Carole Lembo. Vice
Chairwoman were Karalynn Cleary and Tara Gronberg. Honorary
Chairwoman was Carolyn Maness. Committee Members were Kim
Coleman, Ruth Craven, Catherine Crowley, Steven Deering,
Margaret Dimm, Virginia Eades, Eileen Fell, Mary Harrington,
Dora Kino, Lucy LaVoy, Joanne Lembo, Louise Lord, Laura

Proceeds from the Dinner Dance will support Opportunity,
Inc. in its mission to provide low-cost, high-quality,
pre-school programming to children of low income, hard
working families.
