Palm Beach Opera
Hosts Thank You Reception for Donors
Palm Beach Opera
(PBO) invited donors of $250 or more to the Palm Beach
Opera Production Center on Florida Avenue in West Palm
Beach in order to thank them for their support of opera
in our community this past season. The Annual Donor
Recognition Reception was held on Wednesday, April 9
from 5-7 PM.
Guests were
treated to tours of the Production Center which includes
the Rehearsal Hall, Wardrobe Workshop and Vocal Coaching
Studio. They were also the first to see the newly added
space for set production, storage and construction.
This was the first season when the Opera was able to
consolidate all of its producing operations under one
roof.
General Director
Daniel Biaggi hosted the wine and hors d’oeuvres
reception to celebrate the excellence of the past season
and to inform about the exciting season ahead. PBO
kicks off the season on Saturday 12/13/14 with our
second Opera @ The Waterfront, a free community event
which attracted over 2,500 happy attendees at the Meyer
Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach in its debut this past
December. Then onto the classic and beloved La Bohème
in January, a World Premiere, Enemies, A Love Story –
PBO’s first World Premiere in our 53 year history – in
February and the lighthearted The Daughter of the
Regiment in March.

followed a joint meeting of Palm Beach Opera’s Board of
Directors and Board of Governors.
