Honorary gala chairs Tara
Kelleher and Roy Zuckerberg opened
their Breakers Row apartment on January 15 to
celebrate the chairpersons, host committee and
sponsors of the Community Foundation's Paradise
Found Gala. For the first time, this year's sold-out
gala will be held at The Breakers on January 22 and
will be a modern interpretation of paradise. Guests
will be dressed in their most colorful 'garden
chic?' attire and enjoy dinner, dancing and a live
art auction of a piece by internationally acclaimed
photographer Peter Beard.
Nearly 50 guests attended the preview
party, including gala chairs Frances
and Todd Peter; honorary chairs Debra
and Anson Beard Jr. and Carol
and Peter Matwiczyk; Foundation board chair J.B.
Murray and his wife, Carrie; board members Sherry
Barrat, George
Elmore, Christina
Macfarland, Doug Stockham and Steve
Templeton; and committee members Loy
Anderson, III, Mark Cook, Benjamin S. Macfarland,
III, Nancy and Dr. John Murray, Allison Ridder, Maura
Smith and Mary
and Joe Webster.
All proceeds from the gala and the
art auction benefit the Community Foundation's
leadership work in Palm Beach and Martin counties
and its mission to connect philanthropists to local
causes and nonprofits.
