The opening ceremony for US Sichuan Chongqing
General Association Inc.
US Sichuan Chongqing General Commerce Group Inc.
was held in New York.
More than 700 people attended the Conference
including the Sichuan and Chongqing Association President, Vice
President, Supervisor, Directors and others.
US guests present at the ceremony include New York elected
officials,
Congress Woman Grace Meng. Congress member of the city such as
Gu Yaming and Winnie Greco , American / Chinese Ambassador,
Office of the Brooklyn Borough President, Eric Adams
Sichuan and Chongqing have long since shared the same mountains
and rivers.
The two provinces also share language, cuisine, culture, and custom.
Although the three gorges project of 97 caused Chongqing to
separate from Sichuan, the separation of administrative
divisions did not sever the roots and ties of kinship. In
Sichuan and Chongqing there are 120 million children and the
charity organizations for the children are ranked first in the
country.
After three months of preparation, US Sichuan Chongqing General
Association Inc. US Sichuan Chongqing General Commerce Group
Inc. held commencement conference on July 8, successfully set up
a press conference of the Association, also successfully
completed in early August to Chengdu earthquake donations.
On the celebration day, Chuan-yu Chen, President
of the Association of the United States and Sichuan and
Chongqing stated the desire to form a cohesive team. From now on
the US Sichuan Chongqing General Association Inc. , US Sichuan
Chongqing General Commerce Group Inc. will work with all members
and citizens in Sichuan and Chongqing to build a home away from
home, set up a bridge of friendship, to build a communication
platform for the development with all Sichuan inhabitants and
actively promote Sino-US economic, trade and cultural exchanges
which stress on mainstream Asian representations. To achieve
this vision we must unite to create a united front of Sichuan
and Chongqing General Chamber of Commerce, a better tomorrow!
In his speech, Mr Chen expressed thanks for the following

has worked, lived and studied in the United States.
Her work now focuses on contributions to Sino-US relations.

country, and the cultural exchanges between the two countries."
US Sichuan Chongqing General Association Inc. Vice Chairman
and Secretary-General, Zeng Cheng said

to take a place in American history".
