Community Network,
announced today that the sixth
annual ADAPT Virtual Family
Connect Summit will go live for
one week beginning
Wednesday, October 20th.
“The virtual event
will offer professionals, families,
and self-advocates the latest
information regarding intellectual
and developmental disability
services and supports for children
and adults,” says Edward R.
Matthews. “The summit offers a
variety of sessions presented by
experts, industry leaders, and
public officials in various topic
areas.”
In addition, ADAPT’s
Family Connect Summit will provide
information for families on the
latest in technology, equipment, and
virtual learning. Last year,
over 2,500 people
attended the summit virtually.

Gillibrand, U.S. Senator for New
York, about policies addressing
the needs of
both children and
adults with disabilities.
There will also be a
parent panel conversation moderated
by Tracy Pickar,
ADAPT Vice President
Family Support Services.
Nine sessions are
being offered online again this year
and will be available in English,
Spanish, and Chinese.
