Polo Ball Accepting Nominees for 2024 Beneficiary

Newport Polo is
excited to welcome nominees in its search of beneficiaries
for its 23rd annual International
Polo Charity Ball.
For over two decades, Newport Polo has hosted its annual
sellout gala to benefit charitable causes in the community,
and bring together hundreds of supporters for a classic
black-tie ball with the polo players, including an annual
international team as guests of honor.
The Gala will take place in Newport,
RI on August
2, 2024 returning
to Rosecliff after
its extensive renovation as the reigning mansion among
Bellevue Avenue’s esteemed gilded age châteaux.
The annual sell-out event is one of the most anticipated in
Newport's summer calendar. Full details are to be announced
this month with the launch of gala ticket sales, by
exclusive e-vitation (subscribe).
501(c)3 charitable organizations are encouraged to submit
their nomination for consideration as the beneficiary of the
2024 event. Working closely with Newport Polo, the
beneficiary(s) enact an auction supported by gala attendees
and online bidding, and in turn, receive the proceeds.
Nominees must be an active presence in Rhode
Island,
directly benefiting the needs of Rhode Islanders. Nominees
must have an experienced committee of volunteers to conduct
an auction. All

Newport Polo has
raised over $2 million dollars during its 32 year tenure,
raising awareness and funds for local charities through the
annual Polo
Charity Ball and
other fundraising initiatives. Recent Polo Ball
beneficiaries include the Newport Historical Society, The
Jeffrey Osborne Foundation, Newport Classical, Save The Bay,
amongst others.
"Community stewardship is one of Newport Polo's core
principles," commented Founder, Dan
Keating.
"Charitable initiatives preceded the start of the Newport
International Polo Series over
three decades ago, with the first two Rotary Benefit
Matches, and we will continue to build on past success to
support our community."
Last summer, Newport Polo hosted the ABBA
ca DABRA Ball at
Marble House in Newport honoring
the Swedish Polo Team and benefiting Newport Historical
Society.
More than 1 beneficiary may be chosen. Additional
opportunities abound for individuals and businesses to make
an impact and receive recognition in the coming year - Event
