Major Darren Baldwin, a recipient of a Purple
Heart medal (among many other accolades*) and graduate of
U.S. Military Academy West Point, is now living with severe
neurological deterioration caused by a traumatic brain
injury. This heartbreaking story is the case for many of our
nation's service men and the Green Beret Foundation has made
it their mission to honor those and their partners for their
duty and commitment to protecting our country.
On Sunday,
September 17, the Green Beret Foundation will be hosting
their 3rd Annual Cincinnati
Classic Reception, Silent & Live Auction and Dinner. Mr.
Baldwin?s wife will be honored for her The Loving Care
Award. The exclusive event will include a VIP Bourbon
tasting, a live performance by the St. Patrick Glee Club and
an 18-hole Golf Tournament, the following morning. All of
the proceeds will benefit the Green Beret Foundation's
mission to support the United States Special Forces. |
