Come out to the Pig 'n' Whistle on 36th
and sing your hearts out to Hybrid Theory as we play the album
from front to back.
A few days shy of the one month anniversary of lead singer
Chester Bennigton's death, the super emotional
singalong will raise money for the Pieta House NYC
(Pieta House provides a
free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal
distress and those who engage in self-harm).
Mental Health issues are no
joke and it's crucial to raise awareness for such
lifechanging services such as Pieta House.
Since 1999 Linkin Park has touched the lives of millions
around the world
- from Hybrid Theory to One More Light, there has been a song that speaks
to every one of our emotions.
Blasting "one step closer" in your room, watching the
"crawling" video on MTV before school, having "in the end"
as a break up song, or walking to and from school with the
album in your CD player, Hybrid Theory has gotten us
through the hard times of our formative years one way or
another and there is no better way to honor Chester
than to sing the album that started it all.
Let's join together as we say goodbye to Chester and toast
to the many great years of music and memories he and the
band have given us!
