This event is a benefit for the Caridad Center which
provides free quality medical and dental care for more
than 5,000 low-income, uninsured individuals. This fall
fundraising Gala, “An Evening at the Waldorf” will be
on Saturday, October 24th at 6
pm at the Waldorf Astoria, 301 Park Ave, New York City.
The
event will feature Master of Ceremonies, Robert Galinsky, who is
the founder and “Principal” of the world’s only school
for Reality TV (The New York Reality TV School) and is
also Co Creator of the Manhattan Monologue Slam. His
work has been featured on: The VIEW, ABC Nightline News,
The Today Show, and E! Entertainment News, BBC,
The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Media
outlets world wide.
This
evening of elegance will include dinner, cocktail
reception and a silent auction. The highlight of the
event will be a musical performance by Kristin Diable
and a runway fashion show style wars competition by MSMG.
And, for the first time this year, the gala will also
feature comedic performances by Vince August, and
Cortez .

Ferguson “An Evening at the Waldorf” Producer is
ecstatic that Diable has agreed to perform at this
year’s Gala. “Diable’s music is a blend of rootsy rock
stirred with spoonfuls of folk, soul and blues and sung
with passion and fervor. Diable cites artists like Jeff
Buckley, Nina Simone, Etta James and many of the
classics of our time as personal favorites.
Kristin, who recently had a song in a national Jeep TV
commercial, has toured extensively throughout
the US performing at music venues, colleges &
universities. She has shared the stage with John Mayer,
KT Tunstall, Sonny Landreth, Amos Lee, Norah Jones,
Robert Cray, The Gin Blossoms, and Shawn Colvin, to name
a few. Her new CD, “Extended Play”, is being released
on October 6th,

Proceeds from “An Evening at the Waldorf” will be used
to support the Caridad Center’s mission
to upgrade the health, education and living
standards for children and families of agricultural
workers, laborers and the underserved. The funds raised
at this gala are critical for both organization’s
immediate local needs and longer-term national goal.
