Major corporations are showing their support again for
the fifth annual Children & Parents Day Winter
Wonderland to benefit the Museum of Lifestyle &
Fashion History. Visit the North Pole is
the theme for event that will take place on Saturday,
January 9, 2010, at 12 Noon to 4pm. Major
sponsors include GL Homes and Target. The
lunch will be provided again by Carrabba’s Italian
Grill of
Boynton Beach, Florida.
The print newspaper sponsor is The Palm Beach
Post. Other financial supporters of the event,
to date, include the Patricia Ann Ravo Fund; and
Boris & Edith Rueger Fund. Sponsorship
opportunities are still available for Children & Parents
Day.
Committee members, to date,

The Master of Ceremony is Angela Sachitano who is

This annual family event is
consistently sold-out with capacity attendance of
visitors from throughout South Florida and
Central Florida
too. Children & Parents Day will be held again
at the historic 1925
Boynton Woman’s Club in
Boynton Beach, Florida.
The purpose of this festive program is to provide a
fun-filled day of family adventures with arts, crafts
and history education activities for children. The
interactive activities will include various types of
Winter-theme arts & crafts plus, magic show and story
book readings. The attendees for the event are
multi-generational who are equally engaged by the
stimuli created from the activities at the event. The
arts and crafts at the event will help to encourage
motor-skill development along with teaching the ability
to identify, create and design art using geometric
shapes and primary colors.
Admission fees are $20 per person for adults, senior
citizens and children age 3 and over; free for children
under age 3. Fees are inclusive of food, activities and
entertainment.
The Museum of Lifestyle &
Fashion History was established in year 1999 and is a
non-profit organization with the mission to offer
educational programs, and history and retrospective
anthropology exhibits showcasing lifestyle, cultures,
people, places, fashion trends, clothes, architecture,
furnishings, decorative arts, interior designs,
locomotives and toys, and information about popular uses
of artifacts by people/events of various periods of
time.
