The 6th Annual Children’s Holiday Party: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Holiday Party will be held at the Norton Museum on December 6, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It promises to be an exciting, fun-filled afternoon of surprises for the children and their families. The event will include a variety of activities including a special presentation of “The Wizard of Oz,” interactive arts and craft projects, a meet-and-greet with themed characters, and performances that will entertain both children and adult


Proceeds from the Children’s Holiday Party 2009 will benefit the Museum’s Children and Families Fund.  Your gift helps school-age children and families by subsidizing their admissions and by enabling the Museum to strengthen its commitment to tours, programs and outreach.

The Norton Museum of Art is one of the Southeast’s premier art museums—a flagship institution known for the quality of its extensive collections, traveling special exhibitions, and innovative educational programming. Founded in 1941 by Ralph and Elizabeth Norton, the Norton Museum has been recognized for its internationally renowned collection of American, European, Chinese, contemporary art, and photography. Annually, the Norton Museum presents exhibition related lectures, concerts, and programs for children and adults. Shop in the Museum store or enjoy lunch in Café 1451 at the Norton.


The Norton Museum is open Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. (Closed on major Holidays). General admission is $8 for adults, $3 for visitors ages 13-21, and free for Members and children under 13.  An additional charge may apply for special exhibitions. Special group rates are available. West Palm Beach residents receive free admission to the Museum Collection every Saturday, with proof of residency. Palm Beach County residents receive free admission to the Museum Collection the first Saturday of each month, with proof of residency.
