Lawyers Without Borders is also expected to
give oral statements at the conference
highlighting the importance of proper legal
research and training in effectively
implementing the UN’s Human Trafficking
Protocol.
“Human trafficking is a complex
international problem,” said Lawyers Without
Borders founder and president Christina
Storm. “Effective legal training and
capacity building is essential to ensuring
that trafficking prosecutions are vigorous,
transparent and effective. We look forward
to continuing our collaboration for
academics, policy experts and fellow legal
professionals in Vienna.”
