Tequesta, FL– The Lighthouse Center for the Arts is pleased
to present the 46th annual Beaux Arts Ball, which
will be held Saturday, February 6, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at
the Jupiter Hills Club, located at 11800 SE Hill Club
Terrace in Tequesta.
Guests will enjoy mingling in the ultimate party atmosphere,
sipping specialty cocktails made just for the occasion,
dancing to smoky, jazzy sounds and acquiring unique
experiences and items in the live and silent auctions. The
Lighthouse
Center
for the Arts is taking a slightly different approach to its
presentation this year – opting for a festive yet more
casual affair. “That is why,” said executive director
Katie Deits,
“the
46th annual Beaux Arts Ball will be The Ultimate Cocktail
Party.” Deits went on to say that “guests may wear cocktail,
instead of formal attire this year.”
Cocktail hour will feature a variety of butler-served hors
d’oeuvres. Guests may fill their glasses with perfectly
chilled cocktails flowing through the lavish ice sculpture
sponsored by Susan and O’Neil Bardin, Jr. Elegant dinner
stations of carved beef tenderloin with Caesar salad, Ahi
seared tuna with fresh citrus salad and colorful vegetables,
Asian fusion Thai, and gourmet mashed potato “spud-tinis”
make up the creative and captivating dining experience the
Ball committee has planned with the gourmet chefs at Jupiter
Hills Club. A tempting trio of desserts will then be served
to top off the taste-fest.
Serving as honorary chairs for the event are Doctors Anne
and Vincent Palumbo. The event committee includes Carolyn
Austin, Susan Bardin, Evelyne Bates, Julie Silk-Beaumont,
Lani Click, Irene Goodkind, Cathy Helowicz, Mary Imle,
Denise LeClair-Robbins, Elizabeth Neuhoff, Rosalie Roush,
Gil Walsh and Kathryn Wong. Sponsoring the event are Mason
and Gil Walsh, PNC Foundation and Publix Supermarkets
Charities. Additional sponsorships are still available.
Dr. Anne Palumbo invites the public to “join us for an
elegant and lively evening. Don your cocktail finery, but
leave your top hat and black tie at home. A delicious new
dinner menu at the Jupiter Hills Club will have your taste
buds dancing even before you dance the evening away at our
most important fundraiser.”
Tickets are $275 per person, $2,200 for a table of eight, or
$500 for a Connoisseur Ticket that includes VIP seating and
