Jane
Seymour & Free Arts NYC Team Up to
Benefit Underprivileged Kids at
Artexpo New York, March 25-27 at
Pier 94
NEW YORK—World-renowned
actress, artist and author Jane
Seymour will collaborate with Free
Arts NYC on Saturday, March 26 from
9:00am to 12:00 noon for “Free Arts
Saturday,” hosted by Artexpo New
York at Pier 94, New York’s famed
“Art & Design Pier” on the Hudson.
For 11 years Jane Seymour has
exhibited her paintings at
Artexpo New York. Now for a
second year, she will team up
with the local 501c3 Free Arts
NYC to inspire local kids to try
their hands at mural
painting—this time, in the style
of Andy Warhol.
Canvases will be generously
donated by Fredrix®
Artist Canvas. Based in
mid-town Manhattan, Free Arts
NYC provides under-served
children and families with a
unique combination of
educational arts and mentoring
programs that help them to
foster the self-confidence and
resiliency needed to realize
their fullest potential. The
organization’s theme is “Art
Heals. Mentoring Works.”
In keeping with their commitment to
give back to the community,
Artexpo New York will
donate 10 percent of ticket sales
from the show to Free Arts NYC, and
is encouraging exhibitors to donate
5 percent of the art sales from
their booths.
At Artexpo New York, Jane
Seymour will exhibit her latest
collection of Open Heart-themed
watercolors at the Coral Canyon
Publishing booth #911 and
showcase her recently published
book Among Angels
(Guideposts,
October 2010). This delightful
gift book, with a personal
foreword and art by Jane
Seymour, features literature,
spiritual texts, and personal
stories that celebrate the
importance of human angels all
around us. “Human angels inspire
us by bringing us peace and
tranquility, innocence and joy,
hope and love,” she explains.
Jane Seymour is
a multiple Golden Globe and Emmy
winner and a recipient of the
Officer of the British Empire,
which was bestowed on her by
Queen Elizabeth II. Jane has
proven her talents in virtually
all arenas, from the Broadway
stage to motion pictures to
television. Her love of art and
color has led to her great
success as a painter in
watercolors and oils, as a
fashion designer, and now, a
jewelry designer. Seymour's
latest film "Love Wedding
Marriage," co-starring James
Brolin and Mandy Moore, will be
released by IFC Films in
2011.
For 32 years, Artexpo
New York has been the
world’s largest fine art trade
show, providing trade buyers and

Artexpo has hosted many of the
world’s most renowned artists,
