The Morris
Animal Foundation and Kate Edmonds Events will
host the Inaugural Gala at 7:00PM on Thursday,
December 8th, 2011 at a private club in New York
City. The event, chaired
by Kate Edmonds Donner, David Haworth,
Barbara Regna and Jean Shafiroff, will feature
cocktails followed by a three course dinner and dancing. A
special talking bird will be in attendance. Alex Donner and
his Orchestra will provide musical entertainment while
wearing animal masks. Animal prints are required to attend.
The inaugural
gala will honor Dr. Philip J. Bergman DVM, MS, PhD who is an
innovative scientist on the forefront of veterinary medical
research. Dr. Bergman is a board- certified veterinary
oncologist who is the Principal Investigator of the first
melanoma cancer vaccine approved for us in veterinary
patients.
This year's Morris Animal Foundation Inaugural Gala
committee members include Christina Alibrandi, Nancy Amling,
Juliana Attwood, Amanda Bowman, Sharon Bush, Erin Maura
Condon, Alex Donner, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Donner, Vicki
Downey, Grayson Handy, Caroline Jacobs, Pam Laudenslager,
Alison Maiore, Kris Norman, Ashe Reardon and Richard
Rubinstein.
