2011...The Police Athletic League is holding its
18th Annual SportsNite Dinner to honor
New York Mets General Manager
Sandy Alderson
and New York Mets Manager
Terry Collins.
The event at Cipriani, 110 East 42nd Street, begins
with a cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m. followed by
dinner at 7:00 p.m.
John McEnroe will serve as Emcee for the
evening. Robert
J. McGuire is the Chair and
Raymond W. Kelly,
Robert M. Morgenthau and
Fred Wilpon
are Honorary Chairs. The benefit committee includes
Richard A.
Bernstein,
Stephen Greenberg,
Mitchell B. Modell, John B. Osborn, Philip Suarez,
Eric Kessler and
Steven C. Witkoff.
Festivities include auctions with autographed
memorabilia and New York City’s hottest restaurants. Proceeds
support PAL’s academic, artistic and athletic
programming that serves 50,000 boys and girls
throughout the
five boroughs.
Benefit tables range from $7,500 to $25,000.
