There are few indulgences more satisfying
than sipping and savoring a bottle of wine over conversation
with friends. On Thursday October 18th, A Silver Lining
Foundation is hosting an event at the LaGrange Francesca’s
location that will allow guests to partake in this pleasure
along with a selection of sweets all to benefit a good
cause!
For $25, guests can nosh on chocolate-inspired tastings that
have been expertly crafted by Francesca’s Chef Jorge Avalos
using Kokku Chocolate as the main component. Kevin Roblee of
Kokku Chocolates will also be in attendance with a sweet
table filled with cocoa concotions and guests can complement
these delectable desserts with a variety of wine varietals.
In addition, raffle tickets will be available for purchase
with a plethora of prizes from restaurant and salon gift
cards to wine and jewelry. A portion of the ticket sales and
100 percent of raffle revenue will go to A Silver Lining
Foundation, which has helped ensure cancer resource
information, treatment options, support, and mammogram
services to thousands of people in the Chicago and Rockford
areas since its founding in 2002.
The event will be held from 6:30 PM- 9:00 PM at Francesca’s
