Upcoming A Sterling Event Gala
to Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness and Services
Attend A Silver Lining Foundation's Annual Gala
on October 6th
Living without
health insurance is a frightening thought, especially when
health concerns arise. For the last ten years, A Silver
Lining Foundation has been dedicated to providing awareness,
support, education, and access to cost free mammography
services to uninsured and underinsured individuals.
Join us in celebrating ten years of breast cancer awareness
and services on Saturday, October 6th at A Silver Lining
Foundation's Annual A Sterling Event Gala. Founded in 2002
by Dr. Sandy Goldberg with a single program, A Silver Lining
Foundation has grown to help thousands of individuals
through four established programs. While each is beneficial
to women (and men), the
"Buy A Mom A Mammogram" program garners the most attention
by funding cost free mammograms and diagnostic testing
(including breast biopsy) to individuals in a timely,
dignified,
and respectful fashion.
"It's truly been a
dream come true watching the foundation progress to what
it's become today and our annual gala is a time to honor our
supporters and raise funds to support services to women who
otherwise would go without potentially lifesaving testing,"
says
Dr. Sandy Goldberg. "Providing treatment and the necessary
information to those who wouldn't have access is rewarding
each time, and it reminds me every day that there is always
a
silver lining."
