Celebrating 25 Years of Working Together!
BIG APPLE CIRCUS HOLDS ANNUAL BENEFIT
PERFORMANCE FOR OUTREACH
DURING "GRANDMA THE CLOWN'S" FINAL SEASON

The Big Apple Circus will open its tent in Cunningham Park
in Queens to dedicate a performance of "Dream Big!" to
Outreach, a non-profit premier provider of drug and alcohol
abuse treatment and training services. This year's show will
mark 25 years of working together to bring entertainment and
support services to the community. The Benefit Performance
will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. In addition to the
25th anniversary of the partnership, this year is especially
poignant because it is the final season of performances for
the iconic "Grandma the Clown."
All proceeds of Outreach's ticket sales will benefit the
expansion and enhancement of treatment and training
services. The show kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a special
ceremony in the ring with Chairman of the Event, Vincent
Dragone, Senior Field Vice President of Mutual of America.
Queens Borough President Helen Marshall will once again be
Honorary Ringmaster.
Now in its 34th season, the Big Apple Circus has continued
to wow audiences with original shows featuring prominent
circus artists from around the world. In traditional circus
fashion, the Big Apple Circus is renowned for its
cutting-edge acrobatics, jugglers, balancing acts, and
trapeze flyers - all performed under an intimate big-top
tent, with no guest more than 50-feet from the ring.
"Working with the Big Apple Circus for the past 25 years has
been a rewarding experience," said Kathleen Riddle, Outreach
President. "The evening is about combining family
entertainment with the spirit of generosity and helping
others. It is an exciting event that the community truly
looks forward to each year."
A raffle priced at $2 per ticket, $20 per book (12 tickets)
will be part of the evening, with prizes to include:
