NEW YORK MEDICAL COLLEGE
TO HONOR TWO COLLEGE LEADERS
AT ANNUAL FOUNDER’S DINNER

Medical College will honor its Chief Executive Officer, Karl
P. Adler, M.D., and Dean and Provost, Ralph A. O’Connell,
M.D., at its annual fundraising gala, the Founder’s Dinner.
The black tie event will take place on Thursday, June 14 at
the Glen Island Harbour Club, New Rochelle, New York.
Dr. Adler has
served as New York Medical College’s chief executive officer
since 2007; as its president from 2007 to 2011; as dean of
the School of Medicine and vice president for medical
affairs from 1987 to 1994; and as professor of medicine from
1981 to the present. Dr. O’Connell has served as New York
Medical College’s provost and dean of the School of Medicine
since 1996; as professor of psychiatry since 1993; and as a
member of the faculty from 1980 to the present. Both
gentlemen will receive the William Cullen Bryant Award.
Named for the College’s founder, the award recognizes
distinguished leadership.
