ROSEMARY & BEN KRIEGER CO-CHAIR
“FRIENDS OF THE SEMINARY 2012”
Boynton Beach, Florida Monsignor Keith R. Brennan,
Rector-President of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary,
has announced that Rosemary and Ben Krieger are the
Co-Chairs of “Friends of the Seminary” signature fundraiser
on February 17, 2012. The evening will begin with Solemn
Vespers at 6:00 p.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Chapel on
seminary grounds. A cocktail reception, silent auction and
formal dinner will follow.
The Kriegers, members of St. Jude Parish in Boca Raton have
been volunteers and supporters of St. Vincent’s for many
years. When asked why they chose to serve and support the
seminary as Co-Chairs, Rosemary enthusiastically replied,
“Ben and I are honored to be a part of this important
mission to educate seminarians who will be priests and
provide spiritual leadership for God’s people for many years
to come.”
Mrs. Catherine “Sis” Murphy, a long-time benefactor of the
seminary and wife of Thomas A. Murphy, a former member of
the seminary’s Board of Trustees, is once again, a
sustaining sponsor of the event.
In support of “Friends,” Annabelle and Denis Coleman,
Honorary Chairs, 2011, held a V.I.P. reception at their home
on January 18th.
Historically, “Friends” is attended by Archbishop Thomas G.
Wenski, of Miami, Chairman of the Board and Chancellor for
the Board of Trustees, the visiting Bishops from the seven
Arch/Dioceses of Florida, the Seminary’s Board of Trustees,
as well as friends and benefactors of the Seminary. Tickets
are $175 per person and tables of 10 are available. For
