ANNOUNCES 3rd ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC
WEST PALM BEACH, FL - Co-Chairs Nancy Brown and Lauren
Schneider have announced plans for Israel Cancer Association
USA's annual Golf Classic, to be held Monday, April 16, 2012
at Banyan Golf Club in West Palm Beach. "Our goals are to
fund two fellowships for cancer research in Israel, and to
introduce more people to the remarkable findings these
brilliant scientists are making every day," remarked Nancy
Brown.
ICA USA was founded in Palm Beach to support cancer research
by exceptional Israeli scientists developing earlier
diagnostic methods and groundbreaking cancer treatments and
therapies. "The research value, dollar for dollar, is
unrivaled. Israel conducts research at a fraction of the
cost of comparable research in the United States. And every
fellowship dollar goes directly to the scientist not their
institution, and not for our overhead. This funding paradigm
is unique to ICA USA," explained Bruce Koppel, Board
President.
Golfers begin their day with registration and brunch at
11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Participants
then enjoy golf contests during play followed by an awards
ceremony, silent auction, cocktails and a barbecue dinner.
