CARON AND HANLEY SUPPORTERS GEAR UP FOR ROCKIN GALA
Pre-party sets the tone for laid back event filled
with nonstop fun
|
(PALM BEACH) - Gala co-chairmen, Liza
Pulitzer and Nellie Benoit hosted committee members and
sponsors on December 11 at a Pulitzer poolside pre-event for
the upcoming Caron and Hanley Treatment Centers Gala. New
and longtime supporters connected to honor the
organizations’ recent union and hear plans for the January
11 inaugural Gala at The Breakers – planned to be as laid
back as Pulitzer’s tropical bungalow.
“We are so excited about this event,” said Liza Pulitzer,
event
co-chairman. “It will be a real dinner dance with an
emphasis on ‘dance’ and having fun. There’s no black-tie
dress code -- we have deliberately swept aside some of the
formality that is part of the Palm Beach gala tradition. The
funds we raise will benefit a cause that we feel
passionately about. The Caron and Hanley Lifesaver
Scholarship Fund will allow those who seek lifesaving
treatment for their addiction but lack sufficient funds, to
receive financial help and the treatment they so badly
need.”
Pre-party guests included Holly and Michael
McCloskey, Joan and Paul Van der Grift, Jeanne and David
Rosow, Julie and Bob Reveley, Kat and Tom Miller, Amy and
Drew Rothermel, Denise and Dan Hanley, Margaret and Michael
Picotte, Clark Appleby, Anne Keresey, Deborah O’Kain, Dr.
Rachel Docekal, Sid Goodman, Chris Leidy, and Turner and
Whitmore Benoit.
Guests learned that the Gala party will rock from start to
finish. Headlining an after-dinner concert and former voice
of the super-group Foreigner, Lou Gramm’s hit list includes
some of the most instantly recognizable classics of the 70s
and 80s including "Cold as Ice," "Waiting for a Girl Like
You," "Hot Blooded," "Juke Box Hero," and more! The
night-full of music and fun will kick off with dance sounds
by Marcia Mitchell Band and start the party in style. In
addition to Gala dinner dance tickets, after-party tickets
to Gramm’s concert are also available.
Tickets for the event may be purchased at $500 for an
individual, $1000 VIP, $250 Junior (under 40) and $195 After
Party. Proceeds benefit the Caron and Hanley Treatment
Centers Lifesaver Scholarship Fund.
Sponsors for the event include Kim and Payson Coleman, Heidi
Cox, Marvin H. Davidson Foundation, Florida Power & Light,
