brightest young philanthropists and learn how you can join
the movement to end childhood cancer.
The event will feature
light hors d’oeuvres, complimentary beer and
cocktails, a silent auction and raffle to benefit St. Jude.
Tickets will be available to purchase online
until March 12, 2014. After this time, tickets must be
purchased at the door on the evening of the event. VIP
ticket holders will enjoy a unique experience with exclusive
food, drinks and more.
The partnership between Tri Delta and St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital was formed in 1999. Since then, the
sorority has raised over $16 million for the hospital.
Since raising $1 million in 2005 for the Tri Delta Teen Room
at St. Jude, Tri Delta has continued to set and reach many
fundraising goals for the Hospital. Four years after the
birth of the Teen Room, Tri Delta raised $10 million for the
Patient Care Floor in the Chili’s Care Center. Soon after,
the Sorority began its $15 in 5 goal – $15 million in five
years – for the Specialty Clinic in the Patient Care Center.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is
internationally recognized for its pioneering research and
treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic
diseases. Ranked one of the best pediatric cancer hospitals
in the country, St. Jude is the first and only National
Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center
devoted solely to children where no family pays for
treatment. The daily operating cost for St. Jude is nearly
$1.8 million, primarily covered by public contributions.
