The spring season at The New York Botanical Garden will kick
off on Thursday,
April 24, 2014 with
the Antique Garden Furniture Fair Preview Party. Named the
'Best in America' by the experts and long held as the most
renowned stage for authentic garden antiques and rarities,
the annual Fair, which in recent years also featured
contemporary offerings, returns to its roots with a central
theme of 'Antiques for the Garden and the Garden Room',
showcasing fascinating antique furnishings and objects, an
expansive collection of ornament, decorative art, and
timeless furniture for the home and garden.
This year's Preview Party Chairmen are Michael

The Preview Party will take place in the Conservatory Tent,
where over 30 of the country's leading antique dealers will
display their finest antique garden furniture and
accessories for sale. In addition, guests will have the
opportunity to purchase unique botanical treasures at the
Collectors' Plant Sale as well as bid on one-of-a-kind
plants, outdoor furniture, garden ornaments, and other
exclusive items at the Silent Auction.

the curators and gardeners who are responsible for making
The New York Botanical Garden one of the most important
horticultural showplaces in the world.
