What: Tuesday’s
Children, a nonprofit organization that helps support the
healing of the children and families of the victims of 9/11,
will host their annual Tuesday’s
Children Roots of Resilience Gala. The evening will be
hosted by Morning Joe Co-Host, Mika
Brzezinski and
honor Eddie
Gindi and the
Century 21 Department Stores for their major contributions
to the nonprofit organization. Taryn
David, the Founder of the American Widow Project, will
be receiving the Resilience Award, an award which recognizes
an individual or organization for their efforts to encourage
resilience, and New York Met legend, John
Franco, will be receiving the Keep the Promise Award in
recognition of the compassion he has shown to the families
and children impacted by 9/11.

About Tuesday’s Children - Tuesday's
Children serves all those directly impacted by the events of
September 11, 2001—children, families, 9/11 responders,
Veterans, and recently those from around the globe who lost
a loved one due to an act of terrorism—through life-changing
programs and services. Tuesday’s Children focuses on
community, and connecting those with similar experiences to
support profound and positive impact on their collective
healing.
