from the Big Band Sound throughout the decades.

AWARE Mission Statement: AWARE
is dedicated to fighting Alzheimer's disease by providing
funding and support to programs, projects, and research of
non-profit organizations and public entities that actively
help individuals affected by Alzheimer's in Dallas and the
greater north Texas area.
Founded in 1989 by a small group of
civic-minded Dallas women, AWARE has raised and donated over
$12,000,000 so far to the cause of Alzheimer's disease. These
dedicated women created A.W.A.R.E., an acronym for
Alzheimer's Women's Association for Resources and
Education. TODAY,
men and women have joined together to fight Alzheimer's. Today,
we are AWARE.
